A scene of beautiful country livingWelcome to the West Allen Valley, a green and verdant oasis nestling within the magnificent wildness of the North Pennine AONB, an area of England that has been described by David Bellamy as ‘England’s Last Wilderness’ . Welcome too to Whitfield and the Whitfield Estate, a large and traditional country estate which occupies some 25 square miles of the West Allen Valley and surrounding countryside, and which has been the home of the Blackett-Ord family for the last 250 years. In fact the estate has only changed hands once since 1167. Well, when people find their way here, they generally don’t feel like leaving…And we think you’ll feel the same. |
Holiday Lets at Parmontley Hall!
From 3rd March – 30th November 2009, selected 4 and 6 berth lodges at Parmontley Hall will be available for short breaks (minimum 3 nights) and holiday lets.A typical 3 night stay either mid week or long weekend costs £250 low season and £300 high season*. A 7 night stay from Friday at 3pm to 11am the following Friday will cost approx £475 low season & £550 high season*.
And if you like your lodge so much you want to buy it, the cost of your stay will be deducted from the purchase price!
